royal flush

Stephen and I have a crazy life right now. I know I've said this before but it seems to get crazier by the day. We were pondering over our lunch break, (if you can call it that when it entails holding a crying baby, wiping a snotty nose and changing a diaper and Stephen replying and writing e-mails pertaining to business,) this afternoon and I came to this analogy:

We've been dealt all the right cards, we have so many opportunities and blessings- our struggle is figuring out how to play them all right. Some people have lousy cards dealt to them, some don't have a whole lot in their hands. So today, I choose to be thankful. I am thankful for the handful I have. I am thankful that I get to juggle chaos and be blessed. Our life is crazy but at least it's good.

Paige, I don't have a clue how you do what you do, you're incredible! Way to be positive and make the best out of what God has given you. Thanks for sharing!!

that's a wonderful way to look at it. I was just reading Apostle Paul saying, "do not be anxious...with thanksgiving," how cultivating a thankful heart can reshape our focus. Take it away from the worries, the troubles, the unknown. So again--I love your perspective and reminds me to follow suit.
