The picture I'm dreaming of now is this: Blue skies above, a slight breeze in the air, Pear and Jovie in perfect little sundresses holding hands behind Stephen and me on the sidewalk. We arrive at the boulangerie to order pastries. The girls give a sweet "merci" before leave and go to the cafe to order deux cafe au lait and enjoy a lovely Saturday morning. After this, we take a bicycle ride to Tuilleries Garden before our stroll through the Louvre....this is just the start of a lovely day in Paris.
For those of you who haven't been to Paris, oh you've got to go! The food, the shopping, the parks, the history, simply the atmosphere is amazing!

That sounds so picturesque! I would also love to live abroad. The US can be a great place and Washington is certainly wonderful but I think the rest of the world is much more exciting! My favorite place to live would be New Zealand. I would love to visit Ireland, but I don't know much about it so I can't say whether or not I'd like to live there. Paris and Italy are both places I would love to see though! I took two years of French in high school and now I can't remember anything, well I understood the French you used, but after two years I should know more than that!!! lol.
That would be such an adventure to share with your girls...I hope you guys get your chance to live there!
I always like to look at the homes for sale abroad. This one was on the NYTimes homepage . Now, it's a little too small for your family...but thought of you when I saw the pics of the Boulangerie and mention of the Louvre. I would love to live abroad someday too, but I dream of Costa Rican beaches and naked baby buns. Funny. To each his own...
