the little things...
I am so thankful right now. I'm in my 32nd week of pregnancy and I'm sipping an iced latte with 2% milk. I had a delightful piece of herb bread with butter and smoked salmon for lunch. There is a flourless chocolate cake (my most recent love) in the refrigerator. And, we're getting donuts for breakfast tomorrow! I slept a solid 8 hours last night and I have a lot of energy today. Yes, these are all little things but these are little things that I enjoy. These are little things that make me tick. God has blessed me this pregnancy with great health. I didn't have morning sickness, I haven't lost my appetite, I haven't had an ounce of itching, no swelling, no stretched skin and hear this: I've gained 20 lbs! We've done a few blood tests to look for signs of Cholestasis and it's nowhere to be found. Not in my body anyways. I am thrilled! Most people probably think I'm crazy but after 2 previous trying pregnancies, I count this as a huge blessing from God. So, right now, I'm praising God because He is good. I'm praising God because he knows I'm enjoying the little things right now, and I truly think he delights in that. Thank you God!

Paige that is miraculous news. I was wondering how you were fairing this pregnancy as I have read how you have had a difficult time. Welcome to the world of an easy pregnancy!! You are gonna love having a little boy, they are just tons of fun!!
Paige I don't and would never undermine these "little things," because I count them as huge in your life. I'm rejoicing with you on this.
kamille
those are definitely things to be thankful for!! We are so happy for you and the way your pregnancy is going this time!
what is the substitute for flour in your cake?
Jacquelyn- The cake has 1/2 cup finely ground almonds (almost like almond flour) and I think it makes the flavor of the cake even better.
